Personal Book Cross-Posting — Privacy

This is a private tool for its owner's own eBay book listings. It is not offered as a service to other sellers.

Purpose and information

The tool prepares and manages the owner's listings using book details, asking prices, and photographs. Seller access requires the owner's approval on eBay. The current setup does not retrieve or keep buyer addresses, messages, or order histories.

Credentials and hosting

Application credentials are encrypted in Cloudflare Workers secrets. Setup credentials and listing files may also be kept locally on the owner's computer. Credentials are never published on these pages. eBay account passwords are entered only on eBay.

After sign-in approval, the service exchanges the authorization code with eBay and sends the seller access and refresh tokens as a private download to the browser that started sign-in. Those seller tokens are not stored by the service. The owner controls the downloaded credential file.

Notifications and logs

Account-deletion notifications are verified, acknowledged, and discarded. This endpoint keeps no eBay user records or notification archive. Application logs record generic technical outcomes; they exclude tokens, authorization codes, and notification contents. URL query strings are redacted from Worker logs and traces.

Sharing and control

The tool communicates with eBay and uses Cloudflare for hosting. It does not sell data or use advertising trackers. The owner can revoke this application's access through eBay and remove locally saved credentials and files.
